It’s Vermaland Recognition Day in Phoenix!

(Disclosure: Rose Law Group represents Vermaland.)

City of Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego issued a proclamation announcing today, July 5, 2023, as Vermaland Recognition Day.

The proclamation recognizes Vermaland as a private sector leader in advocacy for solar and other renewable energy projects with 16 development contracts with solar power developers, totaling more than 10,000 acres. The proclamation states that Vermaland’s mission allows the City of Phoenix to have an ally in attaining its goal of being the world’s most sustainable desert city.

Vermaland was founded in 2006 by Kuldip Verma, offering land options for residential, commercial, agricultural, industrial, solar farms and other renewable projects. Vermaland currently owns more than 25,000 acres of land, which is the largest holdings of 50 to 1,200-acre parcels in metro Phoenix.
