Mosaic, the nation’s leading institutional-grade general contractor, has broken ground on Avilla Palomino, a new build-to-rent (BTR) community, by NexMetro Communities, with 197 cottage-style apartments and amenities in Glendale. The new community helps alleviate the shortage of high-end rental home options for families and individuals in the Phoenix metro area.

Avilla Palomino will include one-, two-, and three-bedroom options in duplexes and single-family detached homes with private backyards and front patios, from 690 to 1,265 square feet. Residents will enjoy a resort-style pool and spa, shaded pavilion, outdoor barbeques, open space areas, and a dog park complete with a dog wash station and pet fountains on the 18-acre site.

“NexMetro Communities is an industry leader in the build-to-rent space, and Avilla Palomino is yet another visionary project within their portfolio,” says Ron Gonski, SVP of Growth. “The expansion of build-to-rent in the state, through innovative developers like NexMetro Communities, and their Avilla Homes brand, provides needed housing with beautiful homes and communities that tenants will be excited to live in.”
