Picklemall development set to open in Valley

A new-to-market pickleball location is set to open its doors in Tempe on Aug. 5, and a waiting list is already growing to book court time.

Picklemall will make its debut with a grand opening at a former At Home big box store at the Arizona Mills shopping mall after announcing its expansion to the market in May. The finishing touches are being put in place on the 104,000-square-foot space, but CEO West Shaw is sensing that the courts will be busy from the start as the grand opening sold out of its free play.
