ARIZONA CITY — After months of construction and renovation, the Arizona City community finally has its library back, with some new amenities and features added to the building.
Community and county leaders cut the ribbon on the newly named Pinal County Community Center and Library on Wednesday, with Supervisor Jeffrey McClure calling the building an “esteem builder” for the small community.
The library is the second one run by the county, joining the San Tan Valley location. The new building boasts an extra 4,000 square feet onto the original library, adding a large conference room, kitchen and extra storage.
At the ribbon cutting, McClure, along with Pinal County Interim Library Director Shawn Flecken and Danson Construction President Dan Fontana, spoke to an eager crowd ready to enjoy all of the amenities the building offers.
