Buckeye’s Sundance Park phase 2 now complete

Phase two of Sundance Park in Buckeye is now available for West Valley residents’ enjoyment, following a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by Buckeye’s Community Services Department.

The 38-acre expansion of Sundance Park, influenced by resident input, features a fishing lake; grand pavilion; splash pad; lighted basketball courts; multi-use sports fields; and additional playgrounds, ramadas and restrooms.

Miranda Gomez, community services director for the city of Buckeye, acknowledged the added amenities have been long awaited but were worth the wait.
