Dickie resigns as town manager of Parker

By John Gutekunst | Parker Pioneer

The Town of Parker is looking for a town manager again. The Town Council accepted the resignation of Town Manager Edward O. Dickie III at their Sept. 19 meeting. Dickie had been the Town Manager since May.

At a special meeting Sept. 21, Community Development Director Nora Yackley was named Interim Town Manager.

“The Town of Parker and Mr. Dickie parted ways amicably and we wish him well,” Mayor Randy Hartless said in a press release. “We just had different ideas about how best to move the town in the right direction and we all agreed those differences were irreconcilable. We will move forward and persist in our efforts to find a suitable Town Manager.”
