Eloy community development director resigns

By Michael Maresh | Pinal Central

ELOY — After almost 10 years as Eloy’s community development director, Jon Vlaming has resigned.

After Vlaming graduated from high school in Las Vegas in 1979 he attended the University of Idaho and earned a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture before going to work for an engineering firm.

He later attended Texas A&M University and earned a master’s in land development.

After spending a few months in Europe, he worked for more than 10 years privately with small and large firms doing land planning.

He also worked with many municipal clients and one such client he got to know quite well was Harvey Krauss, who at the time was Eloy’s community development director.
