Fitzgibbons announces run for CG mayoral seat

CASA GRANDE — City Councilmember Lisa Navarro Fitzgibbons has announced her intent to run for mayor in next year’s election cycle.

After spending 13 years on the council, Fitzgibbons told PinalCentral she feels ready to take the “next step of leadership.”

“I’ve had the privilege of serving on the City Council for the last 13 years, I’ve seen so much growth and just the development of our community,” she said. “I’m very knowledgeable about what has happened, our history and where we are going in the future. I feel with that background, I am ready and I’ve been preparing myself to take on that next step of leadership.”
