COOLIDGE — Nikola plans to host a launch celebration at the Coolidge plant on Sept. 28 for its hydrogen fuel cell electric trucks.
Steve Girsky, president and CEO, believes the company has an opportunity to get ahead in the zero-emissions trucking industry. Nikola now comes in second on the market with these type of trucks registered.
He said Nikola’s just getting started and isn’t checking off boxes like other companies as zero-emissions is their business.
Over the past few weeks, their hydrogen fuel cell electric truck started production and is undergoing final testing before deliveries happen.
