SIGNAL PEAK — Community leaders and water experts at a Pinal Partnership breakfast forum on Friday agreed that Arizonans are serious about conservation.
Moderated by Executive Director Rina Rien, the five-member panel consisted of Superior Mayor Mila Besich, EPCOR Water Resources Manager Doug Dunham, Water Resources Director for Queen Creek Paul Gardener, Global Water Vice President of Water Resources Jake Lenderking and Arizona Water Company Water Conservation Coordinator Raluca Mihalcescu. They discussed local water issues, challenges and responses at Central Arizona Project’s Signal Peak Campus.
Besich said residents of Superior exercise prudent water usage. She said a partnership with Arizona Water Company had played a significant role.
