In the heart of New York City, within the architectural marvel of the World Trade Center, an important event was unfolding on September 21, 2023. The venue hosted the Women of Web3 event, a part of the 78th United Nations General Assembly Science Summit (UNGA78). This event wasn’t just another gathering, it was a symposium of ideas and a confluence of visionary minds aimed at opening paths towards gender equality in the web 3 ecosystem. Rose Law Group played a key role in bridging the physical and digital aspects of this gathering by developing a metaverse space in Spatial, one of the most interesting and accessible metaverse platforms in the market. This digital realm served as a unique platform for interaction, discussion and livestreaming, enabling attendees and online participants to immerse themselves in the enriching content and conversations fostered at the event in the World Trade Center.
The event was not solely a technological showcase, it served as a platform to address the existing disparities and challenges within the Web3 and NFT landscape, particularly regarding gender inequalities. The discussions, panels and interactive sessions were centered around strategies to promote diversity, inclusivity and gender equality, aligning with the objectives of the Gender Equality & Reduced Inequalities Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 5 and 10). It was a space of reflection, learning and mutual growth, where experiences and insights were shared with a worldwide audience.
Rose Law Group’s role in this event was pivotal, the design of this metaverse was focused on translating the essence of peace and creativity into a virtual space, providing a serene and inviting ambience where ideas can be shared and and deep relationships can be forged. Incorporating cutting edge technology was also key, AI generated skyboxes were employed to enhance the visual experience of this metaverse.
This metaverse promises a long-lasting impact. The content and interactions within it remain accessible long after the live event concludes, serving as a resource to host educational sessions and community building activities.
One of the groundbreaking features of the venue was the integration of NFTs through Bueno and Neefter platforms, with portals added within the metaverse. The event marks a significant stepping stone towards fostering collaborations with influential communities in the web3 ecosystem, such as Hola Metaverso, Maya Spirits, Crypto Tech Women, Selva, etc. creating synergies and mutual growth opportunities.
