The opening of a new Circle K near Schnepf Farms marks the start of a new era for Mark Schnepf’s iconic destination.
Schnepf sold Circle K about 2 acres of land on the corner of his farm, but as a condition, he was given design input. The exterior of the future Circle K has a rustic look to complement nearby Schnepf Farms.
On Jan. 20, Circle K broke ground for its mini mart and gas station on the northwest corner of South Rittenhouse and East Riggs roads. Schnepf Farms is at 24810 S. Rittenhouse Road.
“I had one town official refer to it as a beautiful building and I’ve never heard of a Circle K being referred to as beautiful. It’s turning out really well,” Schnepf said. “I kept the design approval when I sold the land. I had the ability to approve the design of the Circle K and I made sure that what they built was compatible within the vision of what we’re trying to create here at Schnepf Farms.”
