Buckeye City Council approved the plan to revamp Downtown Buckeye at its most recent meeting.
The Downtown Specific Area Plan (DSAP) is a project that will span the better half of the next two decades in its entirety, and the approval is a vital first step for Buckeye’s future.
“Everybody was kind of familiar with the vision of the plan and kind of the elements and the way that we were going about it so that when we presented it, it was almost like a victory lap,” said Ken Galica, DSAP project principal planner and development service department member for the city of Buckeye.
