The Queen Creek Town Council has approved the final plat for phase 2 of the Vineyard Towne Center shopping center.

The approval came at the council’s Wednesday meeting. The item was part of the council’s consent agenda, which is approved or rejected with one vote unless a council member or member of the public asks that an item be removed for a separate discussion or vote.

Vineyard Towne Center owner and developer Vestar requested the final plat approval for the center at the northwest corner of Gantzel and Combs roads.

The center offers a mix of shops, services and restaurants and is being built over two phases, according to a press release from Vestar.
