Maricopa might welcome another big box home improvement store.
Lowe’s Home Improvement proposed building a new store in the empty lot at John Wayne Parkway and Honeycutt Avenue, according to documents obtained by InMaricopa.
Preliminary plans show a 109,000-square-foot store with garden and rental centers, as well as parking for up to 358 cars.
Details on a timeline or when city officials may review and approve documents were not provided.
This news comes seven months after Home Depot confirmed plans to open a location near Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway and Stonegate Road.
