Buckeye City Council held a public hearing at its recent city council meeting regarding the annexation of the Accomazzo Property — two parcels of land totaling roughly 157 acres at the southwest corner of Turner Road and Southern Avenue — that, if adopted, will free up much needed land in which the city can develop on in the future.
The annexation hearing proposed that council hold an initial discussion on the matter, to bring back for voting on Tuesday, Dec. 5
“After the annexation goes forward and is approved, it would expand that wave of annexations moving from the east to the west,” Ken Galica said.
