Chicanos Por La Causa hosting holiday party for families in Phoenix

Angeles del Barrio, a free community event from Chicanos Por La Causa to help families celebrate the holiday season, is coming to Phoenix.

Without worrying about expensive holiday costs, families will have the chance to get free toys, stockings filled with goodies, pictures with Santa, and essential health checkups.

Angeles del Barrio goes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2 at South Mountain Community Center, 212 E. Alta Vista Road, in Phoenix.

Prior to the event, volunteers will come together to stuff more than 6,000 stockings with goodies and to sort thousands of toys for the Phoenix event, and also for similar events in Tucson and Yuma.
