It was a busy meeting of public hearings with no less than ten spanning items 13 through 22. These included approval as presented of a Planned Area Development (PAD) Overlay District and a rezone from General Rural-GR to Community Commercial-C-2 (9.32 acres) and Multiple Residence-MR (18.43 acres) on 27.74 ± acres, to allow a mixed-use development plan located west of Hunt Highway and south of north Stone Creek Dr. in the San Tan Valley area; and approval of an Industrial Use Permit to operate an electric vehicle battery pack testing facility, on a 480.0± acre parcel in the Industrial (I-3) Zoning District located as part of the Pinal County Airpark within proximity to Red Rock Community. The approval of the application, submitted on behalf of Lucid Motors, included the rewording of one of nine stipulations to read: this IUP runs commensurate with the terms of the lease. (Items 16/17, 19)
