The Town of Paradise Valley Building Official Chuck Ransom has offered some insight into the slow-moving progress of the Ritz-Carlton Paradise Valley project.
Five Star Development did not respond to requests for exact opening dates but offered a timeline for the Villas and Estate Homes. It is the same timeline that was given earlier this year.
Move-in of the first homeowners to the Villas is anticipated for the end of the year, and the first houses of the Estate Homes are expected to be completed in spring 2024. No update was given on when the resort or The Palmeraie retail center will be done.
Based on the recent number of building inspections and Ransom’s visits to the site, he said this long-anticipated completion is possible and confirmed the Villas are closest.
Planning Manager Paul Michaud also confirmed the Villas are almost to final occupancy.
“They’re getting close to meeting certain requirements from engineering such as roads, infrastructure. Building standpoint, they have their fire safety lanes and they are starting to build out casitas,” Ransom said.
