Eloy commission considers tiny homes

ELOY — The Eloy Planning and Zoning Commission on Dec. 20 recommended to the City Council rezoning 0.87 of an acre to build 20 tiny homes or apartments for people who are struggling with mental health problems, homelessness and other issues.

The rezoning of the property at Fourth Street and Stuart Boulevard would change it from commercial to high-density residential.

The locations for the tiny homes would be in the 400 block of Stuart Boulevard, across from the Pinal Hispanic Council building.
