The field to fill three Scottsdale City Council seats is widening with three new candidates filing their statements of interest with city clerk Ben Lane.
Adam Kwasman, MaryAnn McAllen have filed, as well as incumbent Tammy Caputi.
They will join the race with Jan Dubauskas and Justin Laos.
The three city council seats up for election are currently held by Caputi, Councilwoman Betty Janik and Councilmember Tom Durham.
Durham has said he intends to run again while Janik has said she is waiting until after the first of the year to make an announcement.
Mayor David Ortega is also up for re-election. He has not answered several attempts to reach him regarding his intentions about running.
