Warm welcome, high hopes for new downtown Mesa complex

Downtown business owners expressed optimism last week that the latest downtown apartment building to open will continue an upward trend in foot traffic – which they say has been slowly adding momentum to Mesa’s effort to turn downtown into a day-and-night destination.

The seven-story, 102-unit ECO Mesa apartment building on Pepper Place and Macdonald celebrated a ribbon cutting last week with the high-end apartments already about 25% occupied.
