As we look into the new year, it’s a perfect time to reflect on the milestones and achievements that have shaped our city over the last 12 months. Our major projects and community events have made 2023 a year of victories, growth and shared success.
Apache Junction has seen remarkable achievements that have touched every corner of our community. From the acquisition of the rodeo grounds to the great investment in our city, we’ve seen a lot that will have a lasting impact. All this underscores the strength of our community spirit and the dedication of everyone involved.
Our achievements are not just about projects but also about the people who make Apache Junction a thriving community. The active engagement of residents, businesses and local organizations have been critical in creating a positive attitude. Together, we’ve created a sense of unity that will help us into the future.
We welcomed several hundred new residents to our town with the first residents of Superstition Vistas moving into homes in our first master-planned community. Central Arizona College is spending millions in upgrading its Apache Junction campus. Several new developments in the city are in various stages that will bring more people into our area. That’s important because our residents have continually told us that they want more choices in restaurants and businesses. Those kinds of investments need “more rooftops,” additional residents to support those new businesses to succeed.
