How the governor’s priorities could impact the West Valley

Helping Arizona grow its economy is a key priority for Gov. Katie Hobbs, who kicked off the Arizona Legislature this week with her state of the state address.

Fast-growing parts of the Valley, including everything west of Interstate 17, will be facing several challenges in the coming years such as workforce development, housing affordability and water shortages.
