Paradise Valley hillside home approved for development

A new single-family residence on North 55th Street has been unanimously approved by the Hillside Building Committee with stipulations and two variances.

“It’s a very steep lot,” Hillside Development Planner Jose Mendez presented to the committee during formal review.

The two variances are to:

  1. Allow a gross disturbed area of 20,950 square feet with a final net disturbance of 18,388 square feet (41.6%) from the allowed 4,152.92 (9.4%).
  2. Allow a max cut height of 38 feet from the allowed 30 feet.
