HAROLD CHRIST PINAL COUNTY DISTRICT 5 CIVIC ENGAGEMENT AWARD WINNER
Harold Christ has been a visionary land developer in Pinal County for over 45 years. He was the original developer of Gold Canyon Ranch, the first planned community approved by Pinal County.  He is a storyteller of Arizona’s historic past. One of the greatest partners he brought into the Gold Canyon area who is now planted solidly into it’s rich western history was Don Donnelly. Don and Shelly Donnelly moved down from Estes Park, Colorado, to Gold Canyon in 1980. Harold Christ, General Manager of Dinomount Corporation, believed a stable would add a lot to the Gold Canyon area.Read more 
Queen Creek Bridge at El Camino Viejo Ribbon Cutting
On Monday, December 18, Supervisor Jeff Serdy and community partners held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the Queen Creek Bridge at El Camino Viejo.
This had been a years-in-the-making project, with construction beginning in early 2023. This bridge replaces a hundred-year-old Luten Arch bridge, parts of which have been preserved for the community. Click on the video to learn more.
