Tempe residents speak out about the future of Danelle Plaza

An important cultural and community gathering space, Danelle Plaza in Tempe is moving forward in its revitalization.

Tempe City Council recently approved its conveyance to developers at a meeting where residents provided input on how the city should develop the space at 3400 S. Mill Ave. 

At the Jan. 18 meeting at Tempe City Hall, council held the second and final public hearing regarding the conveyance of the city’s property at Danelle Plaza to Guina Affiliated Developers LLC and Desert Viking-Danelle Plaza.
