Axon’s cases for multi-phased north Scottsdale campus continued indefinitely

Discussion of Axon Enterprise Inc.’s cases for a mixed-use development to complement a new flagship headquarters in north Scottsdale have been tabled.

Ahead of its Feb. 14 meeting with Scottsdale Planning Commission, the applicants for Axon’s general plan amendment and rezoning cases requested a continuance to a date “to be determined” to allow for additional time to work through issues with traffic and water use that the commission raised at its last meeting. Axon is proposing 1,975 multifamily residential units, a 425-key hotel and nearly 47,000 square feet of restaurant and retail on the southeast corner of Loop 101 and Hayden Road, next to where the law enforcement technology company plans a future headquarters campus.
