FTC noncompete rule poised to become final in 2024; Shruti Gurudanti, Rose Law Group partner and director of corporate transactions, comments on what it poses for employers

The Federal Trade Commission could issue its final rule on non-compete agreements in a matter of months — and experts expect it to become final sometime in 2024.

Bloomberg Law reported last May, citing an unnamed source, an announcement on a final rule will take place in April 2024, a timeline other news reports have since repeated.
