THERE’S A NEW SHERIFF IN TOWN: “I was proud to make the motion for Russ Skinner to be the new Sheriff. Skinner has more than 30 years of experience at the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and he knows all the important challenges that must be addressed this year. He has the respect of deputy sheriffs and detention officers. He treats all citizens with dignity and respect. Public safety is an important issue for me and I want residents of Maricopa County to be assured that Sheriff Skinner will do everything he can to keep us safe and allow our community to thrive,” said Supervisor Galvin.
