Vice Mayor Mark Stanton is announcing his candidacy for mayor of the Town of Paradise Valley.
“I am proud of my record as vice mayor and as a councilmember. I will build on these successes as mayor of our town,” Mr. Stanton told the Digital Free PressFriday, Feb. 2. “My life is centered in PV. I was blessed to grow up in the town, and my wife and I are raising our two children in my childhood home. I am asking my fellow citizens for the privilege of serving as their mayor.”
Mr. Stanton said his decision to seek the mayor’s seat is rooted in his belief in the future of the Town of Paradise Valley and the generations ahead.
“Our town was founded on limited government, while offering high-quality customer service for residents and surrounded by world-class resorts and unparalleled natural beauty,” Mr. Stanton said.
