Adjacent commerce parks proposed in Chandler

A proposed complex of two adjacent industrial parks with seven warehouse buildings totaling over 1.32 million square feet on 85.29 acres in South Chandler has moved one step closer to final city approval.

The city Planning and Zoning Commission approved a request to rezone the land from agricultural to Planned Area Development last month, leaving the final decision to City Council.

 Called Schnitzer Commerce Park, the project by developer Schnitzer Properties of Oregon includes two commerce parks on southeast corner of Ryan Road and Arizona Avenue near Queen Creek Road. One would be called Ryan Commerce Center and the other Hamilton Commerce Center.
