There weren’t many items on the agenda for the March 20 Chandler Planning and Zoning Commission regular meeting.
That made for a usual short meeting — after a lengthy study session.
The board needed less than five minutes to approve a short consent agenda at the meeting. The short duration was a contrast to the board’s previous meeting, when the QuikTrip redevelopment plan led to almost 90 minutes of resident, developer, city staff and board discussion before a vote.
One of those items approved on the March 20 consent agenda was a recommendation for the Chandler City Council to approve a rezoning and preliminary development plan to place an industrial building and a Floor & Décor showroom building on 20.5 acres.
