Maricopa, Arizona, February 29, 2024 The City of Maricopa is thrilled to announce that the city’s newest outdoor space, Lake View Park, is now open for residents to enjoy.
Lake View Park represents a significant milestone as Maricopa’s newest park, contributing to our city’s goal of being a vibrant and family-friendly community.
“The centerpieces of this park are the two baseball fields that expand the opportunities for kids to get involved in sports,” Mayor Nancy Smith shared. “With their addition, we have also freed up fields at Copper Sky and Pacana Park to allow for other groups to use the space.”
In addition to the two beautiful youth baseball-sized ball fields available by reservation, the park features a modest playground area, complete with swings and other exciting equipment sure to spark the imaginations of our youngest residents.
There are also a pair of shaded ramadas equipped with picnic tables, providing ideal spots for gathering and enjoying outdoor meals.
