Huge Buckeye housing community clears checkpoint

A preliminary plat has been approved for the first phase of a massive community planned in Buckeye.

The first 2,184 single family lots across 756 acres at the North Star Ranch master-planned community were approved unanimously March 12 by the Buckeye Planning and Zoning Commission. The preliminary plat is the first of three planned at the project.
