We need your help! We have organized our first ever, LOVE YOUR COMMUNITY Cleanup Day, and we could use all the volunteers we can get!
Before the Pandemic, the County was able to utilize prison inmates to help with the maintenance of the right of ways along our busy streets. Unfortunately, we no longer have access to this resource and we now rely on volunteers to help keep our roadways clean. We have several adopted roads in our community, however, we thought it would be great if we expanded on that list and came together for a COMMUNITY WIDE INITIATIVE.
We have aligned this weekend with the next free community dump days at our public works yard so any garbage collected can be easily dropped off at no cost. We are hoping that each group will have access to a truck to haul off the garbage collected, if not, we will happily arrange to pick it up for you.

We would like to meet at our STV Complex at 7 am on Saturday April 6 to kick off the event and have donuts… we do not anticipate taking longer than 15-20 minutes. We will have extra gloves, garbage bags, and safety vests to hand out. While the volunteer event will take place from 7am-10pm, we would be grateful for any amount of time you could offer. It is not required that volunteers stay for the full three hours
