ELOY — Exceptional Healthcare, purchased 10 acres in Eloy for a new hospital, had its groundbreaking Friday afternoon with several local, federal and state dignitaries in attendance.
“Well, well, well,” said Eloy Mayor Micah Powell in his opening remarks about a hospital coming to Eloy, conceding that he at first was not sure about what he was being told.
Powell said having a hospital in the city was once considered nothing but a dream.
“Today, we are living that dream,” he said. “It means so much to me that you have chosen our city.”
He said timely care is what the community and the surrounding area is what the public seeks.
