Thomas ‘road diet’ plan gets ditched

A once-flaming hot issue apparently has been put on ice.

This time last year, debates raged over so-called “road diets.”

Scores of drivers begged Scottsdale City Council not to get rid of motorized vehicle lanes – while cyclists and others passionately pleaded for city leaders to slim down motorized traffic to allow for bike lanes.
