Ultra-luxury home market ‘berserk’

A report last week from one of the leading analysts of the Valley’s housing market echoed author F. Scott Fitzgerald’s decades-old pronouncement that “The rich are different from you and me.”

The Cromford Report said the average per-square-foot list price of Valley homes sold for over $7.5 million soared by 33% between February 2023 and last month. 

“Something very unusual is happening in the ultra-luxury home market,” the Cromford Report stated, noting the prices being compared were sales and not list prices.
