Paradise Valley Town Council welcomed back legislative lobbyist Doug Cole to its meeting March 28 to give an update on the Arizona State Legislature, ballot measures, and bills relevant to the town on photo enforcement radar, housing and prime contracting.
Cole is Paradise Valley’s contract legislative lobbyist and chief operating officer of Highground Public Affairs Consultants.
The council met with Cole March 28, the 81st day of the legislative session which began Jan. 8. He reported that all committee hearings have concluded and last week was the last time to hear Senate bills in the House and House bills in the Senate. Of the 99 bills passed, 16 were signed and two vetoed.
