Meet the Peoria City Council candidates

By YourValley

The stage is now set for the 2024 Peoria City Council election.

Five residents have made it to the ballot, and there are three seats open on council this year.

Two candidates will run unopposed: Incumbent Jon Edwards in the Willow District and Rick Stokes in the Ironwood District.

The lone competitive race is for the Mesquite District to represent the northernmost area of Peoria, and three candidates will be on that ballot: Tom Bottorf, Matt Bullock and Laura Page.

The primary election will be July 30, and if needed, a run-off will be on the Nov. 5 general election.
