Performance arts center at PCDS approved

A new performance arts center will be built at Phoenix Country Day School, 3901 E. Stanford Drive, now that Paradise Valley Town Council has unanimously approved its request for an intermediate special use permit amendment to the zoning ordinance. 

Phoenix Country Day School students will now have adequate performance space for the student population, and students will no longer have to cross the street, of which safety was a concern, to Camelback Bible Church’s auditorium.

The council’s approval was moved by Council Member Scott Moore and seconded by Vice Mayor Mark Stanton.
