Developer breaks ground on BTR communities in Phoenix

By InBusiness Phoenix

Rockefeller Group, the U.S. real estate developer, owner, and operator, announced it has broken ground on Corsica Villas, two build-to-rent (BTR) communities totaling 152 townhomes in South Phoenix, the company’s first BTR communities in Arizona. Rockefeller Group has selected Mosaic, the nation’s leading BTR general contractor, as the general contractor to oversee all aspects of construction, including amenities, land development, and vertical construction for the Corsica Villas communities.

“Rockefeller Group is pleased to be breaking ground on Corsica Villas with Mosaic.  The project delivers two distinct communities to meet the increasing demand for rental homes south of Baseline Road and close to hundreds of thousands of jobs,” said Mark Singerman, Vice President and Regional Director for Rockefeller Group.
