ELOY — Housing has always been a top priority for the city of Eloy. However, having housing options that fit nearly anyone’s budget is an added element. Last week, the city took the next step in seeing that idea become reality, breaking ground on a new low-income housing community downtown.
On April 24, in partnership with the Eloy Chamber of Commerce, the Autumn Community Foundation celebrated a groundbreaking ceremony for a seven-unit community named “Autumn Cottages at Eloy” at Fourth Street and Sunshine Boulevard.
The community will consist of six three-bedroom and one one-bedroom cottages, along with an onsite clubhouse that will feature a gym, arcade and a pizza cafe.
