Fun times at Queen Creek’s Frontier Family Park

Queen Creek residents have a new place to play with Frontier Family Park.

The long-awaited park at 20039 S. 220th St. will officially open on Saturday, June 8. A ribbon cutting will take place at 7:30 a.m. From 8:30 to 10 a.m. residents can experience the variety of activities available at the park as provided by the town’s partners, including Little League, Evo Athletics, AZ Soccer, San Tan Youth Football and EV Kickball, according to a town spokesperson.

“Frontier Family Park is going to be our largest park, offering more opportunities for our residents to get outdoors, connect, exercise and play together,” said Queen Creek Mayor Julia Wheatley. “Attendees (to the grand opening) can be among the first to play on the playground, cool off in the splash zone and enjoy the town’s second lake,”
