Phoenix is rising again in the 2024-2025 edition of the U.S. News & World Report’s ranking of the Best Places to Live — one that came with a new modification.
After plummeting to No. 110 in last year’s rankings, the city climbed back up to No. 67 in this year’s rankings of the top 150 places to live in the U.S., with the report giving Phoenix an overall score of 6.3 out of 10. The city came in at No. 67 two years ago, so Phoenix regained the 43 spots it dropped last year. There was no specific reason for the big swing in the ranking given by U.S. News.
