A recently purchased 80-acre parcel in Casa Grande will become a new power switching yard and substation, which will extend capacity and services to the Casa Grande West Industrial area.
Casa Grande’s industrial sector has seen a significant increase in industrial users and developers in recent years as the manufacturing industry and related suppliers relocate or expand to the area. This influx, which includes Lucid Motors, Kohler and an array of semiconductor supply chain and electric vehicle manufacturer suppliers, is creating additional demand for power. This new site will address the area’s growing power needs.
The sale was facilitated by Kirk McCarville, CCIM and Trey Davis with Land Advisors Organization’s Casa Grande office. The team represented both the buyer and the seller in the transaction. The sellers were Vernon Lester Barnes and Patricia Barnes of Casa Grande.
“We’ve been working to bring new industrial users to Casa Grande and Pinal County in coordination with city and county leaders,” said Davis. “This new energy facility helps to guarantee the future of power for Casa Grande’s industrial sector and supports our ongoing efforts to further our city’s economic growth.”
