Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona recently hosted its annual fundraising gala — An Evening of Goodwill — at the Omni Scottsdale Resort and Spa at Montelucia.

The event was attended by over 300 community supporters and raised more than $470,000 in support of Goodwill’s mission, services, programs, and sustainability initiatives in Arizona, according to a press release.

“We welcome changemakers from across the state to join us on our mission to strengthen Arizona’s communities by tackling poverty head-on with social services that empower individuals and strengthen families,” said Tim O’Neal, president and CEO of Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona.

“Goodwill goes beyond being just a thrift store. Our career service programs and other initiatives like The Excel Center and the Hope & Home Shelter Program help break down barriers and support our vision of ending poverty through the power of work.”
