Water headlines don’t dampen advocacy groups’ enthusiasm in promoting Arizona

A wave of national water shortage headlines splashed over the enthusiasm for Arizona’s post-pandemic economic growth, but officials with some of the state’s chambers of commerce and other advocacy groups say that while concern is appropriate, panic is going way too far.

In assembling the Phoenix Business Journal’s annual Business Advocacy Groups list, we added a few optional questions at the end of the survey. One was, “The potential for an Arizona water shortage made national headlines. Has the concern died down, or is it still a major issue you need to deal with?”
