CG to explore partnership for housing

CASA GRANDE — The city is considering a partnership with affordable housing provider Gorman & Company, with the possibility of some apartments being built in the downtown area.

During Monday’s City Council study session, two representatives from Gorman & Company Arizona, Sally Schwenn and Dan Klocke, made a presentation about projects on Third Street and south of the Union Pacific Railroad tracks.

Schwenn, the company’s Arizona market president said Gorman is “excited” at the prospect of working with the city and looked forward to being a “good community neighbor” in providing quality housing.
